I would like to thank Linda for what she’s done for my child and also for my family as a result, because a happy child is a happy family and with Linda’s help we really got there. With Linda starting the 6th grade working with a professional at the middle school as well as the psychological professional, the three of them really made it possible for us to be where we are today. With Linda’s help, however, I’d have to say that we really learned how to help my child at school and how to be more effective in her study skills. She helped my daughter to understand how she learns and she helped her how to develop her study skills more effectively. By observing Linda working with our daughter, we were able to learn better how to help her and so it was time extremely well spent.

I would also like to say that, today, with my daughter applying to colleges and being accepted and feeling great about herself, I really do attribute it to Linda and my first call is to her to say thank you. She’s a very, very effective professional, really knows what she’s doing, and her style is wonderfully comfortable for everybody involved. So we thank you Linda.

We are excited to be working with Dr. Linda Silbert because she helps both students and parents understand and navigate the challenges of academic and home life. Our children are under amazing pressure – from us as parents, their teachers, coaches, peers and of course the pressure they put on themselves. Dr. Linda helps get to the root cause of why a child isn’t fulfilling their potential and offer parents and students tools and solutions to help children thrive while keeping their lives in a healthy balance.

The best advice I can offer a parent is to stop the frustration now and start working with Dr. Linda.

I want to let you know how much Strong Learning has helped my granddaughter. She loves working with a tutor, her confidence has grown, and her grades have gone up “2″ letter grades. Your tutors are just as competent, professional, and friendly today as they were when they helped my own daughter in writing, math, and SATs, from third grade to her senior year in high school.

As a retired New York City reading specialist, parent, and grandparent, I want to thank you for all Strong Learning has done and continues to do for children of all ages.

I joined the seminar with Dr. Linda Silbert and Michelle Dyson last evening. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful program. It meant so much to me.

I have one child that has been diagnosed with PDD and high-functioning autism. And to be able to hear, in particular, Michelle Dyson who could relate to it because she has a child of her own with autism meant so much to me. In fact, it meant so much to me that it made me cry, simply because I’ve tried to tell people of the different things that goes on with my child and particularly the school, doctors, and it’s really hard to get them to even agree with you.

I mean, what he does maybe in a classroom, he doesn’t do at home. Everybody doesn’t see everything that I see on a regular basis. And Michelle Dyson, she pointed out, as well as Dr. Linda Silbert, that that isn’t always true. That the same behavior doesn’t go on in the same place. That was so encouraging to me!

It was so encouraged because when people begin to look at you like there must be something wrong with you because we don’t see this, you feel like maybe something’s wrong with you. How do I convey this message to somebody? And the biggest issue is not me. The biggest issue is, how do I help this child? How do I get them to work with ‘me’ to help this child to be as successful as possible?

And when I heard that there can be different behaviors at different places and different environments that was so encouraging to me because it made sense. It helped ‘me’ understand that that’s even possible.

So I can’t tell you ladies…and Dr. Linda Silbert, you were so encouraging as well. You always took what Michelle was saying and you brought back to a solid understanding as well and that encouraged me. So I can’t tell you how much the two of you meant to me last evening. I’ll see if I can finish this without crying. It meant ’so’ much to know that people understand about your child. So I just want you to know that I appreciate you both so much. Thank you again for allowing ‘me’ to be a part of your talk last evening.

God bless you both. Bye-bye
